In the below raw profile, the GPR shows two large granite medieval walls (middle of picture). Only their weak and much thinner contours were visible with the naked eye on the surface. Owing to the usage of GPR, it was possible establish both the wall thickness and their depth in the ground (up to approx. ~3.5 m). Smaller, cotemporary walls and rubbles are visible around (basements after demolished buildings).
